Build your riding skills at the Rally!

The MOA is pleased to be able to offer some exciting training opportunities during the Rally.

On-Road Skills

BMW PC Authority Training

BMW Performance Center Authority Training: This is the rider school where you train just like Law Enforcement Motor Officers! You will experience actual Law Enforcement Motor Officer courses, taught by Law Enforcement Officers from the BMW Performance Center’s US Rider Academy. You will learn the importance of head and eye placement along with clutch and throttle control. These are the basic skills that will enable you to have a flowing relationship with the motorcycle. Each session is $149 with an MOA Foundation rebate of $49 mailed to you on completion of the class! Five (5) sessions are scheduled - get details and register now!

Streetmasters Cornering Workshops

Streetmasters Rally Cornering Workshop: Master proven cornering, braking, and riding techniques. Become quicker, safer, and much more proficient on the road. This will not be your typical “parking lot practice,” as it will be challenging and informative. For some, this will be a great opportunity to brush up on current skills, while offering newer riders an opportunity to learn great techniques from the knowledgeable Streetmasters staff. Students will pay $99 to enroll in the class. After completion of the class, students will receive a $49 reimbursement payment from the Paul B Scholarship Fund in the mail. There are three (3) sessions available so check out all the details and register now!

Off-Road Skills

The 2021 MOA Saddle Up & Ride National Rally in Great Falls, Montana is just 6 weeks away and we are excited to team up with West38Moto to provide off-road training classes at the Rally! Activity takes place at the Bull Run Guest Ranch (719 Sheep Creek Rd, Cascade, MT 59421) and will include a half-day of training and a half-day of skill-building/trail riding. The morning session concentrates on body positioning, braking techniques, traction and better cornering in the dirt. Lunch will be provided and we will then divide up into groups for an afternoon of trail riding on the way back to the Rally grounds. You will be able to put your new skills to practice while your ride instructors guide you through terrain meant to challenge you while keeping you in a safe environment.

Training sessions are available daily Wednesday, June 23 through Saturday, June 26; each day costs $349 per student with a $49 MOA Foundation rebate mailed to you upon completion of the class. Please click on Off-Road Training at the 2021 MOA Rally for a full schedule and to register your training today.

  1. I am registered for the StreetMasters precision cornering workshop that begins at 8am on Thursday, and I know the rally check-in doesn’t officially start until 8am.

I am assuming I should enter the rally site and proceed straight to the East Room-Fine Arts Building to arrive by 8am, but then go back to “check-in” after class? I just don’t want to be late for class or to hold up the class.

Thanks for any info or clarification.
