Download a PDF copy of the entire Seminar schedule.

We are excited to announce that there are some wonderful seminars and learning sessions scheduled for Rally attendees at the MOA Rally in Springfield, Missouri. There will be a total of 77 sessions, all presented in air-conditioned rooms. Here are just a few of the programs you might not want to miss, with the full list farther down on this page.

Topping the list is a visit with Lutz-Michael Hahn from BMW Group Classic. Hahn will conduct a presentation on the BMW Group Archive public database, using examples of the BMW Slash 5 series. If you have ever wanted to research something about your vintage BMW, this is your opportunity to learn more about this online tool, including an explanation of the search function. In addition, he will also have a session focused specifically on the development of the Slash 5 series. Hahn will present both of his seminars twice.

Whether you are a long-distance rider or a GS Giant, the tire options can be somewhat mind-boggling. Take some time while in Springfield to attend a few of the tire seminars to learn about the new tire technology designed to help keep your rubber side down.

Hong Zhang will give us the details about Snell’s recent studies on a series of helmet rotational impact tests following the rotational impact testing protocol in FIM requirements.

Are you toying with the idea of leaving the U.S. and exploring other countries? Travel seminars scheduled for the Rally include riding Patagonia, Spain, Europe, Portugal, the Balkans, Mexico and much more! Some of these sessions are with tour companies, others are members who have ridden on their own. Adventures await you, so stop by and learn if any of these opportunities are for you!

Leaders of the MOA Charter Clubs are invited to join the MOA Regional Coordinators for a Meet & Greet on Thursday morning at 8 a.m. Other official MOA functions include the Board meeting on Friday morning, followed by the Foundation meeting. Be sure to bring your questions!

Finally, we are thrilled to report that Jack Riepe returns this summer to regale us with his wit and humor and to add to the discourse of the benefits of owning and riding a K-Bike vs. the R-Bike.
